We are excited to start carrying many beautifully hand crafted baskets. These stylish baskets are hand woven from basket reed which is a plant that grows in tropical areas.  The basket reed comes in many sizes and shapes. It is as narrow as 1/4" and as wide as an 1".  It can be flat on both sides, flat on one side and oval shaped on the other or round.  Each reed is soaked  in water to make it pliable for weaving.   The full vibrant colored reeds are hand dyed to match your decor.  If the basket has a wooden base,  it is usually made from pine. Some baskets have oak wooden handles and some of the baskets take leather handles. They are sure to add some flair to any room in the home. Care instructions to keep your basket beautiful are printed on the tag.  If you are looking for a great gift or a basket collector, these are the baskets for you.
